I recently re-bought Crysis 2. This time i went for the digital version you download from the marketplace. The game (multiplayer) keeps freezing my Xbox and it never happened before and it doesn´t happen with any other game.
Anyone knows what´s causing this? Any solution for the problem?

Thanks in advance

A typical lag issue..... It happens every so often. Its quite unpredictable and unfortunately not as easy to fix as the "black screen" where you can see nothing but hear the game. That just requires dashboard-ing.

However, no real "permanent" solution exists.

Thanks. But last night i tried a different thing: i went to the memory and deleted the patch from the harddrive. Then i started the game again and it prompted me to update again - i did - and played over an hour with no crashes. I was slaughtered many times but nothing to do with the game just pure skill ... i mean the lack of it :)

I am amazed how people end a match with scores like 30-2 ... i stopped playing the game for 1 year and re-started now and how dificult is that? A LOT!

Is there any thread on this forum helping newbs to get into the multiplayer? Because i sure need that :)

Try to clear the system cache dude

Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select System Settings.
Select Storage or Memory.

Highlight any storage device, and then press Y on your controller. (It doesn't matter which storage device you select; the cache will be cleared for all storage devices.)
Select Clear System Cache.

When prompted to confirm storage device maintenance, select Yes.

Good luck and keep us updated on if this helps

EDIT

Try removing the title update from your hard-drive and download it again! it's in the Crysis 2 on your hard-drive it's a 8/9mb title update
