What are the minimum specs you need to run Crysis 2 on max graphics?

I can run it on max graphics with my Dual SLI GTX 560's, 16 GB's of RAM, and a quad core 3.4 GHZ Intel CPU.

Well, that depends my friend. You're looking at a broad spectrum. Technically a lot of setups can run at max graphics but it depends on how well you want it to run at max. What I consider "max" is being able to keep FPS at 60 or above.... at all times + DX11 + High-res Textures.

Personally, using a 120hz monitor I even push that "max" higher and would say FPS to be at 120hz or more at all times... and that would only be possible with 2 x 690s in Quad SLI. I only have 1 GTX 690 and it wont even hold 120 FPS at all times on max.

But then again, this game really isn't optimized for the 6xx series cards.

Most people do not need 60 FPS on a regular (60hz) 1080p monitor. I have a XFX 6870 Black Edition, and my Crysis 2 (and this weekend Crysis 3) look fine at max. I did place my Crysis 3 to "high" from "very high" because I saw some blurring/stuttering of fast images.

I have played on a dual 560 ti in SLI and it looked great with direct X 11 and anti-aliasing. I would say the same for the 660 ti and the 7850 2gb. I do not measure my frame rates, but I know that I have played on systems with 30-is frame rates (max ~35, min ~25), and they were fine. yes, it is awesome to have a 680 that never stutters and is smooth with even the fastest action sequences, but less is very playable. I personally drop settings a bit to avoid issues. Trust me, one or two settins down is not that bad.

THe new 660ti is a great card for Crysis 2, and itf is SLI's anything like its predacessor, then upgrades will be awesome. The 7950's are now coming down to around the same price as a 660ti, and they looks just as good.

Do keep in mind that most games are find with lesser cards. I have played Diable 3 on a 7850, and I cannot tell the differece between it and my 6870 (although I had more RAM).

Also, faster RAM matters, A LOT! With AMD you max out at 1866, but the new Intel chips can go extremely high with the right motherboard. There is significant improvement from upgrading 1600 RAM. If you have an i5 or an i7, check your motherboard and see if you can go to 1866. It often is only a few dollar more.

This is incorrect. Most AMD motherboards support upwards of DDR3-2400. See http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/SocketAM3+/Crosshair_V_Formula_Z/Crosshair_v_formula-z-memory-QVL.pdf . The ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z, for example, supports up to 16GB of DDR3-2400.

The Intel IMC only "officially" supports DDR3-1600. See : http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/processors/core/3rd-gen-core-desktop-vol-1-datasheet.html
