For a while now, I've been getting this around 1 second freeze of Cr2. The whole game(video)+sound just freeze for about a second.
I mean, it feels like a micro-stutter as the GPU usage appears to drop, but I am not using CrossFireX, so what gives?
Anyone with similar problems?

I just talked to one of my friends who tells me he gets the occasional 1-2 second stutter in C2 exactly as you mentioned, but he has an Nvidia card. So apparently this isn't just a Radeon issue. Anyone else experiencing this?

i have a similar issue on my other pc it is intel i5 2320 i think and has gtx 550 and the video goes black and sound still remains ... sometimes it even minimizes to windows but i still hear the sound. It doesnt even say that the video card driver stopped responding...

If you are saying this happens in on-line play then maybe momentary lag. I do get that. I use an Nvidia card (1gig) and there is no tech issues with that nor CPU. SP is flying for my rig.
