If you were like me, punching someone and watching them fly thirty feet was one of the funnest things to do in Crysis, and the fact that it didn't make it into Crysis 2 was disheartening. If fists don't return, I'll be very disappointed. I could see where it could make it's way into multiplayer and be a two hit melee kill, and gun melee be a four hit or five hit kill; of course you'd have to switch to the fists though. Even if it couldn't make it's way into multiplayer I would love to see it make it's way back in. Muhammad Ali FTW.

And punching animals. That was probably the most fun part of the game.

In the dam gameplay, you can see Prophet running with his fists only. Altough they might just activate after meleeing someone. Can't know yet.

They do activate after meleeing someone, but melee is like a "toggle."

As in you press the melee key, execute a punch and stay barefisted until you switch to a weapon. That's how it works in that demo at least.
