Yeah, I know that mission, but I hoped the MP had tornados! Imagine how awesome that would be! If a tornado or big storm came in the middle off the round, it would completely change the gameplay and direction of the round!
Some rainy weather at night would be great...some of the best night settings for me were in the STALKER series...super dark, rain, lightning and it was all dynamic. If there are big maps this would be awesome and a different atmosphere would be nice. Maybe something a little creepy as you "hunt" the cell ;)
Well, yeah, but I don't see a point in weather effects if the maps are the same size as in Crysis 2. If they (hopefully) bring back some Lite version of the Crysis 1 Powerstruggle, weather effects can be a game changer. As the weather changed dinamically, the gameplay also changes drastically! Visibility, Nightvision googles, sounds...
I missed weather effects in BF3, so I really hope they are in C3!
Agreed, weather would be quite nice and would change gameplay a lot! Imagine having one map, but it being randomized between night and day, and being rainy, foggy, glaring sun, normal, snowy, cloudy and etc. Imagine the possibilities on 12 different maps! The rain would be the most interesting because it could easily mask people in cloak, and make people jump at shadows, as could fog.
Yeah STALKER had some great weather effects/atmosphere. I was blown away the first time this came crashing on my head, and after it all the birds died and started falling from the sky, epic.
