Will Crysis 3 be better than Far cry 3 ??....graphically and gameplay wise....

I beleive that far cry 3 might have a better gameplay ...cus it seems to have an open sort of island...so more to do than just hsoot...some strategy as well.

Visually I think that crysis 3 might be better if runned in full DX 11 mode...

what say you guys ???

Well, first off we'll have to wait till they both come out. :P However, I believe that crysis 3 will definitely be ze greteast. ^^

Crysis 3 graphics will be much better, although I'm not sure about gameplay.

I'd say Crysis 3 will win but both games look fantastic.

I'm really looking forward to Far Cry 3. The graphics do look gorgeous and the environment returns to a tropical island. BUT, If you really want to compare Crysis 3 and Far Cry 3, well....

Far Cry 3 has multiple open tropical islands to explore. Vehicles, Sandbox Gameplay, Crazy villains, Drug-trips, Man eating tigers and animals, beautiful scenery, Hang gliding, It also has a bow as a weapon :D

So, except for the nanosuit, Far Cry 3 looks more like a true successor to Crysis 1 than Crysis 3 :P

But really Crysis is it's own beast just coz of the nanosuit even though they kinda nerfed it in C2.

So Far Cry 3 is still based on a "advanced" version of the dunia engine. (which is nothing more than a highly advanced Cryengine 1..according to Crytek)

According to PC Games Far Cry 3 has very impressing water effects: It seems to have real geometry, white horses, foam, reflections, contortions, caustic and it seems to act physically correct if you swim or walk through it.
The textures are all very high res with lots and lots of parralax mapping. The Dynamic lighting is also eye-candy and the smoke-effects are very impressive.

Its still a mystery what Direct X Versions will be supported this time. Far Cry 2 supported the latest DX 10.1 when it hit the market...There are some image quality differences between DX9 and DX10 in far Cry 2. Most of them are minor, but there are some big ones such as the antialiasing quality difference and shadow difference.

But Dx11 implementation would take way more build up- work from the ground to use it efficiently.

I think we have to wait and see... i think Crysis 3 will be technically better because of the Dx11 base frame.
Far Cry 3 will show what DX10 is still capable of and maybe even include some Dx11 benefits.
But thats just my guess.

I've never played Far Cry, so my opinion doesn't really matter. But I think that Far Cry 3 looks quite boring.

I hope FC3 wont be anything like 2, is on my list of 5 singleplayer games i´ve never finished because they bored me to death.

It looks like it's going to fix all the issues with FC2 like having to travel for years to reach a destination and the terrible story telling. I just hope the maps are as open and big as Crysis'

If CRYSIS 3 gets the CRYSIS speed back: C3 wins.

If not: Far Cry 3 wins by a mile.
