yes, about 4 times myself.
2nd or 3rd auto reboot this time, is there known cause and solution to this?

Is there really no way to fix this? I'm still waiting for someone to get back to me after talking to some Indian guy who had no clue and elevated my ticket. I was at level 50 now I'm lvl 1. Meanwhile my stats show that I've unlocked all classes and most weapons and mods even though I can't access them. Also the in game leader boards show me as lvl 29 for some reason.

If the actual in-game level has changed, manipulations of the locally stored profile files no longer works... once the gamespy data is glitched its done. Regrettably, there is no fix for this issue.
Note that this is different from the situation when the players level doesnt change, but all of his loadouts are gone (along with some other misshaps). In that case restoring local profiles from a backup is almost always successful.
When a reset level is accompanied by sudden connectivity issues, they are related. Try creating a new singleplayer profile, then use that profile to create a new multiplayer account. If that new account connects just fine and the old one still doesn't, I would scrap the original one and keep playing. The ultimate "auto-reboot" I suppose ;)
