You spawn in armour mode, you move/sprint/jump at normal human levels, you DON'T have webbing over your hud nor a shiny lit up suit.

Power: you activate power the way you would activate armour, you have all the power abilitities of speed, power jump, air stomp(?) kick cars PLUS faster walk/strafe speed, faster reloading, reduced hipfire spread and less recoil than armour. Your suit shines red for cell/blue for marines. Obviously less health than armour

Cloak: You don't have access to power abilitites in cloak, BUT you have crysis wars level of invisibility with a C2 level of energy drain. Also with the least health of all, naturally.

Should have been this way all along :/

Also Power Mode should regenerate energy whenever it's not doing any "active" actions, like in C1.

This is one of those brilliant things that's NEVER gonna happen.

I agree, and it makes the most logical sense. Why would the suit be in a default mode which doesn't give you the most protection? It's **** retarded on so many levels. Armor mode should be default and Power Mode should be a switchable mode.

It still isn't perfect because a separate speed mode would allow for speed running and being able to jump without going 50 feet in the air, but it's far better than the system that exists now.

The Crysis 1 Nanosuit was honestly pretty much perfect. Both the Crysis 2 Nanosuit and even switching around Armor and Power mode would still have flaws in comparison. I don't know why Crytek always seems to see the need to fix things which aren't broken.

Yes, a mode management like in Crysis 1 would be just perfect.
If they just keep the possibilitie to have the speed + strengh jump activated in same time. That's the only thing they should keep from the nanosuit 2.

So have back the normal sprint, and prone

just make 2 energy bars: power and armor/cloak. when power runs out, sprinting and jumping becomes weaker

Tap jump for speed jump, hold n release for strength jump.

Not perfect I know, but able to be done.

Crytek's problem with this system is you can't sprint and power jump around in cloak, which became so terribly important during development for C2 for some reason.

or....we can make this into a Real N2 suit

armor mode default (reals just like C1)
power mode now both Switch able and default as well let me explain.

default, bonus lets you Jump high at anytime so (you can use it with stealth or armor) and default lets you use Speed as well.
also lets you punch with power but only when you hold it.
then by switching it to Power mode you get all the bonus of Speed (with its passiveness) and all the bonus of power with delay(for punching)
but you can use Cloak/Armor mode here.

so there 2 modes for power/ one basic for combining speed moves with armor (so you dont have to switch back )
the other to have all the fluid moves.

.......................or
just have all the powers of power mode from C1 with all the passive abilities from C1
make that default/ unlimited so players will always have Fast and fluid movement
(but remove the Speed reload/reduce recoil for gameplay reason)

then just have Armor mode /Cloak
both having to share one Bar.
Armor mode works like in C1.
Cloak works like in C2 where you can upgrade to lose your shadow.

that will be easier to balance cause you only have to focus on Armor and Stealth.

............or
just go back to C1 N1 which was almost perfect
and to make it happen on console.....hold RB to bring up the Modes selected screen
then use the R stick to control what you want then let go of RB.

then by taping RB you can switch from you current to your last select mode
so you can pick Speed mode first then pick Armor

so now you press RB you switch to armor to speed and back to armor.

when you want to switch to cloak duh it will remove the last one of the list
in this case it will remove speed since you have armor mode on
and remove the cod perk system

their you go C1 controls on Console

But cloak mode isn't meant to be a mode in which you go rambo ninja in. It's meant to get from point A to point B without being seen, or defending an objective. There's no reason to jump 50 feet high in cloak mode, or sprint 9m/s.

In Armor mode default it makes much more sense to have power mode and speed switchable because it is often when you will want to jump 50 feet in the air, or speed mode and jump without going 50 feet in the air.

Tap jump and hold jump could potentially be the perfect solution though!
