I know there are videos about fy71 and some class setups but can someone make a detailed video on aiming mechanics. Also, explain how "Leading" works in this game ive seen many people shoot ahead of the target(and punch) and still get kill, but how much to lead and in which direction. Also, how does the JAW work ive been trying to get people with it but it passes THROUGH them like as if they're a ghost (no, not holograms, they were tagged). Also, a video on recoil would be helpful too.
I don't think leading works too well in this game unless you're connecting to very far away servers (250ms+ latency). Even then I'm not sure it's a good idea to lead, this isn't BF3. Aim straight at them and you should hit them, unless they too are lagging really badly. Basically try to stick to servers where you're <150ms (and others are <150ms) and you should be golden, that's where things can get really fun and competive.
There isn't much more to that regarding aiming. There is no bullet drop and no bullet travel time, what you see is what you hit.
Most importantly, the kill cam replay is 99% unreliable. It shows an extremely delayed replay because it tries to jumble together what both people saw on their own clients, so most of the time shows people killing you while completely missing you. Or killing you *instantly* with the first bullet, or continuing to fire long after you died. I only bother watching the kill cam to determine the position of a camping sniper, or if I think it's a hacker getting a suspicious kill.
It's quite easy to determine an aimbotting hacker in kill cam because their gun will be "snapping-on" to you and following you (while firing) without even the slightest wobble, it looks extremely unnatural. Also they tend to kill you at long distances without even aiming down sights, just hip-firing from ridiculous distances.
Most of the time the fact remains that your enemy killed you fair'n'square. Most veterans have learned to simply ignore/skip the kill cam because it shows nothing of value (unless it's a sniper or suspected cheater, like I said earlier) and play on.
Zuvial has got it. Not really any gun in this game has a predictable recoil, and even their random recoil is almost negligible. The only gun that I see that has a predictable recoil is the majestic and the grendel. The grendel goes straight up, and, if I remember correctly, the majestic goes up and to the left. Everything else, to my knowledge (haven't tested extensively) is random. Do not lead targets in this game, this game is a Hitscan game. If the bullet projectile is in line with your target when the Weapon-Fire method is activated, the bullet will hit, unless you're shooting someone with a high ping, like zuvial said.
Other than that, there are basic things everyone should know when playing a FPS like burst fire targets who are far away if you're using an automatic, strafe while firing during a dog fight (unlike in BF3, there is no accuracy loss while strafing and firing, the only loss is it's harder to track your target), if you're using a sniper rifle aim for the head, if you're using anything else, aim for the neck and recoil will do the rest. The only thing that uses kind of special aiming is burst fire weapons or single shot long-cooldown weapons like the grendel and DSG.
In this video, I go over strafe aiming, precision aiming, and flick aiming.
Regarding JAW, yes it is unreliable. It does not work at point-blank ranges and will not kill people if you shoot it directly at them (no collision detection bahahaha). You need to aim for a hard surface nearby them, i.e. the wall or the ground where the subsequent explosion will take them out.
Watch [IAM]4Gen7's kill montage video to get a general idea of it's mechanics and usage.
@Sdub's video, great tips but as he says you need to progress to something like DSG+reflex. It is VERY unforgiving if you miss, someone like me (heavy stealth+mobility) will ruin your day if you don't land every shot.
About the jaw, i wasn't shooting in point blank i was aiming down the incline at cop car on parking deck the jaw went THROUGH the other guy. Also, another thing i run into is people shooting through and then suddenly i am killed... how do the physics of that work(what CAN you shoot through) And also, how does the melee system work (back of head i get 1 melee kills sometimes non-stealth-kill). Another thing i find frustrating is that when i melee directly at people they Never receive any damage (i see through kill-cam) not even any red whether they have armor or not! this is really annoying because its even happened on servers with 60-100 ping! But sdub, thanks for those tips...
Another question: Does jammer scramble the screen when people try to tag you?
Are there any good class for a Newbie like me to try out (ive seen freaky ones like grendel with assault and laser single shot) to nub combo's like MK60 + reflex + aim enhance... and then there is the SUPER WEIRD proximity alarm with scar...
One thing ive been trying out is the tracker perk it is pretty good because its like a proximity alarm (even works when there's blind spot/Covert ops and jammer) and this is really good for my hit-run play-style(I suck at camping, so naturally crash site as well)
Are there any other set-up's you can recommend? I have level 9 armor lv 11 power lv 12 stealth
Another thing, are there any map walkthrough videos out there i havent learned maps really well i freestyle everything (Example: How is statue different from liberty island, how to get to bell on lighthouse etc)
Again, thanks for the video MasterJedi that helped me TRIPLE my k/d ratio. I saw on the video the map with moving targets where do i get that and how do i play on it?(Crysis 2 doesnt let u host =( )

8:27 pretty much sums it up.
I think it won't detonate from point-black cause a safety function prevents it from exploding (self-harm?!). Similar to the L-TAG!
Extract or copy-paste the files you've downloaded to C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis 2\gamecrysis2\Levels\Wars folder. In Levels\Wars folder you're going to see folders, that folder's names are name of the maps. In this case 'Stadium'.
In single player menu open console and type: map stadium. The map is going to load.
