You can quote this everytime someone doubts that Crysis 2 aimed at the console market

It seems their concept of optimization also dumbs down the end product in the process, even if they deny it...

Yeah, the game could have been a lot better with a Prothean companion as default, I don't plan on paying for it. They are just putting stuff out of the game so that you preorder it instead of waiting for a drop in the price or a few reviews before buying

I'd rather have a full game from day one instead of paying the full price for 75% of the actual game and have the rest being charged at twice the price it should have

And Crytek has one of the worst PR departments ever, they come up with stuff that they never fulfill, they stage horrible demos at each event instead of using real players, they script all the trailers as if they were low budget action movies and they say stuff only to say the opposite and "apologize" a day later

They're probably just making excuses... remember when they said Crysis 2 was going to be so awesome and then they cover it up by saying Crysis 2 wasn't so good... hypocrites

Actually, current Crysis3 is far from limitation of current hardware.
Some Crytek guys always say "push boundary", but it's far from limitation of PC.
They push only console.

Crysis3 graphics is good. It's true.
But PC can handle much more polygons, better textures.
Current Crysis3 can melt only low-end PC.

Crysis3 graphics is console based same as Crysis2 right now.

My secret wish is that the graphics don't get better, cause my PC can't handle it...

My only worry about the graphics so far is that most levels look monochromatic, like both the sky, the ground and the trees have a similar tone, it makes it look very dull.

here's my 3570k score with my z77x up4 th board i got yesterday(@4.7GHz), using 2.4GHz dominator gt ram.
crysis 3 uber quality no problem 1080 60fps.
