Post subject: Most recent Origin Update Posted: 08 11, 2012 /10:15 |

I recently upgraded to the new Origin, and have a question. I have been notified that I have exceeded my Cloud storage capacity. Upon starting Crysis2 I am presented a message that Crysis2 sync is in progress. A graph showing 5% is displayed for a few minutes, and then another window opens with two options displayed. One option is "Launch Crysis2 and delete all saved games, the other option is stop Cloud storage. Being unsure as what to do, I clicked delete saved games and begin sync. Sounds self explanatory, but the sync window stays open and nothing happens. I have left the window open for hours and the graph still displays 5%. Helpful information would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for your answer. Chas07

Crysis 2 saves are usually too big for Origin cloud saving. Disable Cloud Storage and enter the game again. But, I see that you have deleted your save files (pretty screwed up :P?)!
Go to "C:\Users\Username\Saved Games\Crysis2", right click- Properties- Previous Versions! See if you have some

Thanks for your reply. Yes I have some saved games. They only go back to 7/25/2012. I have owned the game over a year. I suppose that was the date that I downloaded the new Origin update. If I understand you correctly, I should disable "The Cloud" and save games to my computer. CR2 is my first game and have learned to enjoy it, after considerable difficulty at the begining. A steep learning curve for me. Thanks. Chas07

Revert the save games to 7/25/2012 and just disable Cloud Storage on Origin when you want to play C2. If any other game requires Cloud Storage (BF3), enable it, and then disable it if you want to play C2 again!
