Another studio while Crysis 2 still needs patching. Great.

I really wish they would sell their UK Nottingham studio. The Shanghai studio is probably part of Crytek's plan to move towards F2P development.

Maybe it has to do with their lackluster PC experience, and lazy/bad programming since the last Timesplitters?

There's a reason why they went bankrupt after Haze..

Now, I'm starting to recall, why in the world would they even bother with them in the first place?? They did have a reputation to keep, since the release of Crysis..

Since it's quite a long article (Since it covers the entire story arch of Free Radical), I might as well just TL;DR it. Sony didn't market Haze as much as promised (Plus the game went exclusive because of Ubisoft's deal and the game was never ran in PS3 before that deal was made.) Star Wars Battlefront 3 was killed because of Lucas Arts. They could have been saved from bankrupt with remake of Goldeneye, but the project just disappeared. Yes, they did do stupid things too (Like using C++, which made developing Haze take forever) but publishers can also be blamed. Not just Haze.

Plus with all the other games going on, TimeSplitters 4 still needed a publisher to keep the project alive.
