Hello, i joined a server right when some guy was votekicked(idk why) but then he stayed in the server and got kills this is strange glitch, and im calling it ghost glitch.

You must be new, he is what we call "superior" players cuz we can't use the H word here. Don't post vid's here on that cuz they will be deleted. Post according to rules and report who you see with vid. Nuff said.

Yes, there are cheaters in this game. Pretty annoying cheaters! But people here love cheaters, so don't expect any help here...

Is the ghost glitch really hackers though? I don't think it is... It's more of a server glitch, cause I don't usually see them cheating. However every time without fail when there is a "ghost player", or "unknown" as the killfeed states the server will crash after a couple of minutes. In some ways this makes them more annoying than hackers, sure I can ban hackers no problem but these guys don't even show up in the playerlist on the server.

The only way I know to get rid of them is to kill them, and as you kill them their name shows only on your screen for like a second so you memorise it quickly and then you can ban this username from your server and so you save the server from crashing. But even the kick playername command doesn't work because it thinks that player isn't on the server.

Obviously on a public server with no admins around then a server crash is inevitable with a ghost player hanging around.

i killed him with the jackal but it said "skhsri (jackal gun picture) unknown couldnt see his name

Yep, his name will only appear on the center of your screen when you kill him, in the killfeed he will appear as "unknown" and he won't show on the scoreboard at all or in the server lobby.

ya i looked back through footage and it appears he's an impostor he has SiTH in his name(not as a clan tag) then some wierd characters this means he's an impostor watch out

Many ghost players are using a variation on a "pirate" access technique. On a server monitor, you will see them fiddling around just before they "disappear". In my experience also many of them are not actually there to cheat, but just to get a game in... Still, they absolutely wreck server stability. WaRSPiRiT's technique works with almost all ghosts. Since I cant see/memorize so great I hunt them down with a ready finger on the screen capture button ;)

Players: If you get a ghost's name and there's no admin on atm, please validate the spelling with c2stats.com and forward it to an admin if you can!

Server Admins: A ban on a ghost will be effective the next round. Also, they can be spotted in the logs in many cases; feel free to PM for details.

Yeah, we met one of these so called "ghosts" yesterday on a classic server as I recall. He was a cheater, speedhack and aim for sure. The thing is, I had luck I have managed to kill him, and when you aim your sight on someone, it will highlight his name, he was called something like YouWantToKickMe or something, so we had his name, started the votekick and ppl vote, but it was bugged or something from that special name, since the server said the guy was kicked, but he was still there. I guess there's no other way to kick him, unless you're an admin on a server.
