 Post subject: Invalid serial number with Crysis 2

I purchased a brand new copy of Crysis 2 yesterday from a local store, installed the game and then tried to validate the serial number online, but only to be informed that the serial number was invalid. What is the way to validate this serial and start playing the game?

Try to change your password or retype your CD key.
If that doesn't work, contact EA support: https://help.ea.com/contact-us
They can help with CD key related problems
