Hi everyone. Me and NutmegGinger are thinking of hosting a Crysis 2 XBOX tournament. PC gamers cant have all the fun with competitions. The only prize we can think of right now is giving out a Crysis 2 Desert Weapon Skin (not the Digital). To be honest, I have been playing crysis 2 since the day it was released and I never seen anyone else have a Desert Weapon Skin. Really Rare.

Should we do it? If so what should be the rules? Should everyone be allowed?

Banned Explosive Weapons:

Banned Armor Modules:
• Energy Transfer
• Nano Recharge

Banned Power Modules:
• Aim Enhance
• Rapid Fire

Bracket System:
Teams of _ will compete against each other through a bracket system. (The amount of members per team depends on the popularity of this tournament but aim for 5 teammembers) The team who wins 2 of 3 games will proceed through the bracket. One game will be Team Instant Action and the other game will be Crash site. If there will be a tie a vote take place on what game type will be next. Eventually the winning team will receive the title as one of the best teams of Crysis 2 Xbox. The winning team will then place a free for all match to see who will win the final Scar Desert Weapon Skin Code.

Teams:
Aim for teams of 5. In the future an official number will be released. If you do not have a team and want to join, you will put into a team if there is room. Unfortunately, to allow this tournament to be fair for all people, the teams will be monitored and if necessary, will be changed. When posting teams in the forums, post the Xbox live account name and Crysis 2 Kill Death Ratio. Also PLEASE post if your team will only play on Crysis 2 servers or will play in a Private match.

If this tournament becomes a private match hosted, then new rules will apply.

I would really love to have a 360 Tournie. I was really let down when Crytek said that the Crashsite tournie was PC only :/

This needs to happen to my knowledge this is the last desert skin available and all the tournaments i saw were for pc.

another idea im thinking that it could be a classic or pro match, or at least have the top competitors do all 3 and see who has best 2 out of 3.

thats because it was set up by a PC player, not by Crytek.

Yea I know. I just hate how xbox HAD this private match glitch that causes your rank to be reset but people are still afraid of it. I wish xbox players would help me out on this because people like the idea but no one wants to help. But I will get this tournament running in August the latest.

Are we talking 1v1 or team-based?

No Kill Steaks
No Death Steaks
No C4, No L-Tag or Jaws allowed
10mins Rounds
Set to unlimited kills

1 TDM Match & 1 Crash Site game best of 3 games, I have lot of Clan Leaders on my friends list let me know the details and I'll get em involved.
