Does anyone have any idea how to get this game to run in DX11 on Windows 8 Release Preview. I have tried and tried and still cant get it to work in DX11. Could someone please respond with some kind of fix. Thanks.

Many have tried without success. There is a trick about renaming the cryrender*.dll files, but in my limited testing it looked like it was just forcing DX9.

Well you shouldn't be installing beta software (especially an entire Windows OS) expecting it to be bug free....

Mind, Release Preview is what we can expect in the final release, with only a few bugs ironed out, not much is going to change from now to the release.
I have Win8 on my laptop, works pretty well. The laptop its self isn't powerful enough to play C2, so I can't really try out this DX11 issue.

I've been using Windows 8 RP without many issues, LA noire is now fixed with a couple of files, GFWL now works, only game left to fix is this in DX11.

Most of us who run Windows 8 are aware its a beta OS, but just look to the community for workarounds to issues we encounter as sometimes its quicker than waiting for a patch.

I personally use Win8 as the remote desktop app is much better than Win7, and now I'm used to the metro start menu, its actually quicker for me to find what I want. There is a reg hack to enable more horizontal lines so I have mine set to 9, all my programs easily available and sortable on one screen.

Crysis 3 should 100% support W8. All of stardock's recent games support W8 (Sins Rebellion etc), so it would be stupid of EA/Crytek to not add support.

It depends on your Video Drivers (at the moment, neither support DX11). If your going to use Windows 8, I suggest using a Virtual Machine (like Virtual Box) or installing it on a second HDD.
