I would like to propose something. I feel that there is an obvious divide between Russia and the rest of the world when it comes to Crysis 2. This divide also makes for interesting perspectives on what weapon is over powered and what isn't. So I wanted to offer something....

I want to see if the all star DSG players and the all star russian players could organize a friendly TDM best of 3 rounds where everyone uses SCAR+laser Olympic style kind of thing. I would like to see the outcome.


P.S. the hardest part is going to be scheduling.

While i'm obviously not a good candidate for either team, this sounds like a really cool opportunity to bring the community together and (hopefully) mend the divide Dubsy mentioned.

Perhaps 3 rounds with scar+laser, and three with DSGr?

I'd be down for that. Probably something like no kill streaks, all modules go, 8 on 8 TIA on some good maps like City Hall, Wall Street, and Parking Deck?

Is it bad that I think the Scar+laser team is going to win easily, assuming they're half-decent players?

DSG's going to have major trouble hitting them if they have aim enhance III + scar + laser. The strafing speeds are ridiculous and improved mobility as well.

I'll go on the scar + laser team even though I'm not russian...I haven't used that combo since...well, since the first few weeks I started multiplayer back in early 2011 :P

I wanted to level the playing field. They say the DSG is over powered and the true skill lies in the SCAR. So I want to level with them and all use the same weapon.

Dsg team with DSG+r against scar team with scar+laser, such a match would be interesting.
P.S. I do not know how to play with dsg and do not hide it.
