Hey guys i had a great time playing custom matches with a couple of Ceph guys and other players. And i was wondering if anyone is up for doing this on a regular basis. Like once a week we all get together and play some custom matches for about an hour or more just like the old C2 days.
I think this will be great for the C2 community because it would bring whats left of it back together, and from this maybe some new clans might start to rise. which would be great because it would make C2 a bit more competitive. Also it would help everyone to improve because we will be able to learn from others around us and see how others deal with certain situations.
If you interested in this kind of thing please just leave a comment below or send me a message on XBL CephBlacknish. please note that this will be for all skill levels so don't assume that you will not be good enough to join. :)

I heard it was fun a few days ago but i declined and got the heck out of there for reasons stated below.
On a regular basis would mean stressing about stats being reset on a regular basis. not a fan of stressing and worrying IF I dont have to. I know some people may think you know the answer on how NOT to get reset but in my experience when i got reset in a private match I WAS NOT HOST and i left before the host did and i got reset. True story. But before that when i have done private matches i was the host and i always backed out first and everybody was fine but strangely enough i have heard in most cases for everybody else if the host leaves you get reset. so apparently it can go either way and the chance you gotta end up dashboarding real quick in these private matches is not worth it. so it makes me not want to attempt a private match ever again regardless of anybodys knowledge. besides, i have been reset 3 times and to climb to number 2 in WINS? I'm the most hardcore player that plays this game on the Xbox. I will wait for crysis 3 for private matches

not really sure what you mean but i have always been host in a private match except only 1 time. during these times when i was host i backed out first and everybody was good including myself. the 1 time i wasnt hosting a private match i backed out first and i got reset and they were fine. So i guess the host will never get reset in private matches? just like when you are hosting a squad and you attempt to join a lobby but than throws you out and puts you into a different lobby and everybody gets black screened except for the squad leader. so i guess the power of being host and squad leader is being safe but i still am not taking any risks in a private match.

Fawk private matches, with private MLG rules. Anit no one here MLG, haha. But no C4, with elites in the room is just our culture. Make it Random host, with EU and American players in the room. Let the god's decide.

Then you will see much more active parcipation in these games. But then they would not be custom, would they? Just EU and Americans going all out, with no risk to anyones' stats. You would put your ego and credentials on the line, but without the risk of being a level one the next day :)

If u have 12 people in this game and we just join a regular lobby im down but i wont do private matches

Guys private games with MLG rules are some of the best games I've ever had on Crysis,
True talent, true skill with none of the b4llsh1t

i was in a party and squad with Ceph Nightmare last night for a few games and he was calling BS on some of his deaths and Jason said something about it being the US connection which i agree and he quickly said how the US players were getting frustrated in those private matches the other day because of Ceph being host with your EU connection and so even private matches still sounds like its not fair. it sounds like even PM matches need to be with people in the same country only to make it fair.

Thats y the most fair way is to jus do it in a regular lobby and let the host be random
