I don,t know if there is still hope for ideas for crysis 3 to be taken into consideration. So, to start off can someone please tell me if there is a point in putting ideas here...I know I am a little late.

You can try. It may be taken into consideration for Crytek. They always have room for a Maximum edition or a Crysis Wars multiplayer expansion for Crysis 3(if they ever going to make one). Also let see what the people on the forum may think of.
DICE on the other hand is ahead of Crytek with their Vehicle Kill and Close Quarters, so is CoD when it comes to DLC. Crytek there is no need to copy BF3 or CoD. Then again Crysis 3 is to compete with 2013 games. So I guess it would be BF BC3(If that is being made) and CoD Black Ops 2 and many other multiplayer games. Should take into consideration of what made Crysis 1 better than 2 by a lot. Multiplayer and Singleplayer.

Any one else who wants to share their ideas is more than welcome to post them here.
Here is what i think.
Single Player - I have seen this in lots of other websites and other forums that people really did not like Crysis 2 because it wasnt a sandbox shooter like number one was. Although, i can see why it was not as much of a free world as Crysis 1, because C2 was set in new york and for the game to be a free world (like C1) it would mean for them to allow the players to roam the millions of sky scarpers in the city, and with that the size of the game would be gigantic. - With the rain forest setting of Crysis 3 I think it can bring the sandbox world of C1 to C3 because it is much easier to fill a game world with foliage than filling it with buildings. - The story of C2 was really epic but when i was going through the game there were some parts that weren't made clear or seemed unbelievable for example : For a player who didn't play C1, the game should have educated the player about what the nanosuit is, stuff like it being the most advanced armour. The parts that seemed unbelievable were that Alcatraz didn't talk at all and didn't question who Nathan Gould was when he first heard him, he just followed his instructions from the beginning. That taken out, the story was really good, and probably the best I've seen in a videogame.
Balancing in multiplayer - If crytek is planning to include the Feline SMG, and the Jackal Shotgun please balance the guns. Feline has extremely high rate of fire and almost no recoil, you can put extended mags, and basically spray and pray. the jackal is an AUTOMATIC shotgun which is a too much of a beast in close quarters when compared to the Marshall. In fact, I would say that all shotguns in the game are not balanced; The marshall does more damage than the M2014 Gauss rifle which seems ridiculous. - Another gun i want balanced is the FY71, anyone who played the previous crysis games knows that the SCAR was superior than FY71 in every way, SCAR had more damage, accuracy, and I think the same range. However in C2 the FY71 dominated the SCAR in terms of damage. I guess the damage was increased because Crytek wanted to use the "superior damage" as a selling point so that people would buy the DLC for the gun. - The above are not major balancing issues. I am very happy with the way C2 multiplayer was (probably the most balanced multiplayer when compared with COD), these are just some things that I think could have made it better.
More on Multiplayer - Lots of people on other websites and forums really wish for a Co-op multiplayer mode. Like Horde from Gears of War. In the co-op crytek could make 3-4 player survive endless waves of Alien forces. For example wave one could be 7 ceph grunts, 2 could be 7 grunts with 1 stalker, and so on , making the alien enemies harder to kill and dropping harder enemies like The ceph Pinger or The gunship. I think that this co-op mode will require a lot more teamwork than other co-op modes like zombies from Black ops because of the vast variety of aliens in this game. For example: Killing a Ceph Pinger would require for one guy to direct the pinger to his location while the other guy would set up C4 while 2 guys would protect them from other ceph like Grunt Commander, Heavies, etc. - To buy weapons and ammunition in this mode teammates could use Nano Catalyst that aliens leave behind as money. This could create a fight however because as one teammate kills a Ceph pinger all other mates would Sprint to its location to collect the Catalyst.
- When I played Mass effect multiplayer I really liked having the ability to customize colors and patterns on a Character's armour and I think it would be terrific if we could have the abilitiy to do that. Moreover, If player could select different types of nanosuit that they could wear like Nanosuit 1.0, 1.0 prototype, and the 1.5 (which is used currently in multiplayer). This would push the whole concept of customization to the limit.
- People also wanted the ability to put 3 Power modules on their character instead of 1 stealth, 1 armour, and 1 power. This could make some players overpowered but it would definitely allow for a variety of play styles.
More things
- More guns, having 3 assault rifles in the whole game could be considered little when competing with games like COD. - having the ability to prone. - having the ability to sprint slower but without using the energy. - more maximum ammo to be able to carry with a gun - less ammunition boxes in the game. You could find one on every corner. But i guess it suited the setting of C2 because New York was under Marshall law and it would seem okay for military checkpoints to be on every corner.
Things I really Loved in crysis 1. - Conserving Ammunition; I loved feeling the need to not to waste a single Gauss rifle bullet in the game because they are available in very small quantities. - Feeling like the Hunter. I loved looking at a korean Camp from a vantage point planning my attack, stuff like sniping the Sniper and entering a house and Using the AY69 to kill everyone. I loved the need for stealth because if you were caught the koreans would call in Reinforcements. - Swimming. I loved evading korean soldiers by swimming from the shore to the depths in speed mode and then Swimming all the way back to shore because a shark was after me. - and lastly, Picking up chickens and turtles and strength throwing them.
MY personal wants. - Can we have the old Scar from C1 in C3? Maybe as a different weapon called "Retro SCAR" or something.
One Final Thing - Don't try to be like COD, The people liked CRYSIS 1 because it was something different that actually required using your brain a bit not just plundering through an army. COD didnt allow for players to throw chickens or snap a koreans neck, or grabbing a guy with your left hand and shooting others with the gun in your right hand.

I am not trying to downgrade any of the ideas the developers came up with, I am simply trying to share what I would like improved in a game that i play and follow pretty religiously

Yup, you got some good points. Especially on returning C3 to its roots.
Per multiplayer balancing, i would argue that the Feline and Marshall are pretty well balanced, with low damage and low rate of fire, respectively. And yeah, the FY doesn't need to be so OP.
More than anything, though... I want to go on frying pan rampages.

Your "ideas" not needed..For Crytek and for everyone else.. One of the developers say sometime " the most stupid and terrible mistake that can make developer is listen to someone from the community and make the game for one person".. golden words Probably you do not understand that for Co-op need: 1. Extra space on disc 2. if add co-op need also add split screen.. ( for split screen need that the graphics, physics, textures and etc. were understated) i think no one will want this.. 3. Extra cost 4. Less time / attention in the development of SP and MP Quality over quantity of something in the game..
