can't change nickname. Invalid password given (GS). (even tho i changed the damn pass 2 times already) looks like i wont be buying maximum ed. or crysis 3.

I've been getting the same error for months and my nickname, jdb2, is just an alphanumeric string. Hasn't seemed to have affected anything though. And yeah, Crytek touts Crysis 3 and yet they *still* can't fix a frekin' web forum. jdb2

This message also appears (confusingly) when you are trying to enter a nickrname that has already been used, as I recall.

No, no... just sayin that if a name has ever been used the website kinda glitches on it, Like when you try to go back to an old version of your nick. The "invalid characters" message had me confused for a while way back when.

it wouldn't be an issue if it didnt completely block me from entering multiplayer. (which is the only reason i ever buy video games : the multi.)

How can I fix this? Restated, that particular error message will appear when a nick you are trying has ever been used. It is confusing when you KNOW that you are using valid characters. Try a new nickname.
