I saw that you got kicked and chuckled a little. It happens to effective players ;) Rest assured you will never be banned from NAMC.
I was a bit surprised by this one; the guy spamming you was a regular and a decent 300 hr player who I enjoy having on the server. He also spammed 2 other known, quality players that session. Players that HE knows. Thats the opposite of what we are trying for. Hacker paranoia / votekick spam is worse for any given game than most cheaters are, imo.
He is banned for 24 hours, which he will definitely feel. I will explain it to him when he gets back.
I hope you dont let this sour your opinion too much; we have some very good players who will appreciate having you around. It was fun to watch the vid.

Heh.. I know this is an old thread, but I ran across it while hunting for the server rules for NAMC Crysis 2 servers. I find it ironic that this post addresses nearly my exact set of circumstances, yet I was banned on your TIA Classic server for using an FY71. I too use the FY71 and DSG1, but not in single shot mode. I have yet to get an response to my ban appeal at all. Crysis 2 is my first experience with online fps games and so far, between nightmare first spawns of a match right in front of an enemy and other spawn glitches, incredibly challenging players, and now this, I feel I'm in over my head. This is becoming one of the biggest nightmare adventures of my lifetime. It should be something that I'm enjoying. I'm finally getting good enough to compete and I get banned for using a gun that no person announcing any authority told me was against the rules before or will even bother to explain after the fact. I'm really sad that I wasted my money. It was cheap since I bought it recently, I bought 3 copies for the PC. Two limited edition copies (for me and my son), then another just to try out the FY71 cause it seemed effective when others used it on me. We also paid full price for Crysis 1 and 2 for the PS3 for my son. Although I know this particular problem isn't Crytek's fault, its given me a bad taste in my mouth for all FPS games. I actually watched a Youtube video of what appeared to be a sys admin of a server for BF3 spawn kill a player repeatedly with a jet at least 6 or 7 times. He couldn't even take off and when he figured out a way to shoot down the enemy jet with an RPG or something, he was kicked and banned. Servers should be managed more professionally than that.

nuancedigitalllc , I feel very badly about this. You are a an important part of that server. You were kickvoted for the FY71 (some players try to kick it every time they see it). The only weapon banned on that server is LTAG
Your ban was a mistake, and has been removed. When reviewing the kick vote, i ran these stats: http://c2stats.com/pc/p_nuancedigitalllc . They show a player with only one hour of play! I thought you were the victim of a copycat; I wasnt sure of the exact spelling of your name, but know you as a daily player. Apparently the stats are glitched, because you have considerably more time than that. My attempt to protect one of our regular's good reputation turned sour. I do apologize for my part in your frustration.

Thanks so much for reviewing my situation Ch4nce. I think you're right about votekicks being abused. I am guilty of hitting F1 a little too easily when one comes up without asking why. That had started to change, but from now on I will ask before agreeing. Those stats are extremely old. They are probably accurate for the last time they were refreshed, but completely off now. Yes, it has been frustrating, but only because I didn't understand why I was banned, nor how long it would last. I'm reconsidering the use of this gun now due to the frustration it has caused me. I resisted in spite of comments from a few others, cause I had just paid to get Max Edition for this gun and it didn't seem to be against any rules. Anyway, thanks again for taking the time to review, explain the situation and remove the ban. Take care.
