Hey I just bought Crysis 2, after I was able to get it on sale. It was able to run great on my computer, therefore it's not a hardware or software problem but if I die, or attempt to load a game save after turning the game off and then back on, the game will load all the bars for the level and then it will freeze/shut off with a Crysis (TM) has stopped working box from windows 7.
I seen that the game was patched from 1.0 to 1.9 so I don't know if this issue was covered over it. I had updated with the graphical high texture pack and dx 11 update aswell. Why am I unable to load my game saves? I had started over too and I still can't load them, so it's not a corrupted file...
I have an alienware pc if that helps any.

Same problem here. Starts a new campain or replay a mission just fine but loading in the middle of a mission causes the game to crash. Must be a mismatch caused by the game ver. when the games auto-saves.

Same problem... gotta love that every step Crytek takes forward means at least 2 steps back... am I the only one that misses Crysis 1?

Hey Crytek, your game that we purchased is unplayable due it crashing on loading saves. It's not our computers fault as they run the game fine.. ETA on fix?? I hate buying a game only to run into a game-breaker like this. I really don't feel like restarting every mission from the beginning in order to continue my campaign!
