1. More unique multiplayer.

What I mean by this is that it's not a CoD clone. I mean, look at the campaign! Fantastic on-the-spot customization and dynamics. What we need is something like that. If it is possible, a balanced version of the in-game weapon/suit customization would be a fantastic idea, and really separate it from the crowd.

2. Less Bugs

Okay, I think everyone gets what I'm saying here. Well, we're on the last game, and now that Crytek has two (or three) games to learn from, they can hopefully make Crysis 3 a lot less buggy at release.

3. Better Ranking System

When I say this I mean make it not so SLOW. There are fifty ranks, and five reboots for a total of 300 levels. However, the fact that there is a severe lack of skill assessments and in-game bonuses renders the game a very long and tedious journey. I mean, just look at the boosting explosion. Why do they boost? Just because they want all the guns and not have to sit for a full week or more ranking up. They want to play for fun, not for prestige. A smaller gap between levels or more skill assessments will do nicely.

4. Suit Customization

No, not modules. I say this like Halo's suit customization. Now, before someone goes that it's "ripping it off", Halo is not the first game to have such options, and in Crysis, I think it would be really cool. I don't know, I just like being able to customize my character to look different than the others (and not in a creepy WoW way). I mean, you have the Campaign Nanosuit and the two MP Nanosuits, and imagine having a cool-looking mix between the two.

5. Better Marketing

I have to say that Crysis 2 is an amazing game, but its biggest problem was its marketing. You go into a Gamestop or Walmart and see tons of stuff for Homefront and other games, but not much for Crysis 2. Considering Crysis 2 is better looking, has a better story, and is more unique than Homefront, you'd think it'd deserve better (I only use Homefront as an example because it came out around the same time and had plenty of advertisements everywhere). If Crysis 3 can get a better marketing campaign, than I think it can get over 2-3 million sales easily.

Well i really only have one thing to add to your list: More multiplayer maps

i would say to add more weapons to the multiplayer mode.

Delay the release.
Period.

C2's biggest flaw was it's early release.

i would say to add a zombie mode or something like that...and also a brand new video game engine software and before you release it look over the game and check if there are any bugs on it and fix the ones you find...and add some new armor and let the player allow them selves to customize their characters looks and so on... and also...let the player explore the ENTIRE enviorment of the game...most likely in any other game.. when a person runs in to a wall...they are still walking against it....seriously though... fix that....and im not saying that crysis 2 sucked...actually...IT KICKED ASS!!!! and im just saying...make a game that will change the future of all the games you have played in your life!

Make all the multiplayer game modes available from the start. Grinding through the ranks just to get new game modes is not fun at all.

Actually testing the game before release?

I'd like the next one to actually be a sequel to Crysis. Not in story necessarily, but bring back the huge environments, stunning visuals and physics of the original. Crysis1 is still arguably the best looking game on PC; especially with the CCC mod.

I'd also like to see a step back towards the original suit management. Being able to essentially have srength,speed and cloak equipped at the same time is just retarded from a gameplay perspective, and makes the game WAAAAY too easy, even on supersoldier. I'm replaying the original Crysis now, and not being able to do that makes the game so much more challenging.

Enemy AI needs to take step back to the original also. The Koreans in Crysis were smart, you couldn't get away with shooting the guy next to them without them noticing, and even if you were cloaked, if you rustled in the bushes they would come searching.. and not just one either.

Features like normal sprint, fists and long range night vision need to come back also. Seriously.

I know, pretty much my post wants everything to take a step back towards the original; but when you consider how good that game was, and still is even by today's standards, it is impossible not to think of Crysis 2 as a mistake.

Multiplayer more like crysis 1, where you would have vehicles, weapons, and gametypes all in the same map without having to unlock them (or in the vehicle case just at all). I loved being able to just wreak havoc with my VTOL and hope that some guys didnt coordinate a strike against me with rocket launchers or tanks or something, now I just wish I could have my damn VTOL.
