Proper way as explained in the thread:
Once you buy it go to purchased items and download the dlc pack. Once downloaded chuck the zip itself (do not try and unzip) in one of these folders depending on OS:
Win XP: My Documents>Crysis 2>dlc
or
Win 7: Username>Saved Games>Crysis 2>dlc
Then start the game up and log in as normal and the maps should be available in your server browser.

You can't simply unzip the folder.
Place the zip-File in the appropriate "dlc" folder in the Crysis2 folder that you can find in "My Documents" or whatever it is called. If there is already content in there delete it. Next time you join the game it will check your priviledges and decode it.

Look for this "My document"-folder of Windows, where most games store their save games. Mine is translated to German, but yours should be named "My documents" or something like that.
In there is a "Crysis 2" folder and in there is a "dlc" folder.
Empty this one.
Place the dlcpack1.zip in there.
Start the game.

Start the game. I have no 'Crysis 2' folder in My Documents :S i have looked in both folders 'My Games' and 'EA Games' and there is no folders on Crysis 2.
