looks like every weekends when servers are bit more populated and that's when all hackers, cheaters accumulate to annoy and interfere ppl playing legit.

This person claiming to be 24 years old and living in zimbabwe " TCK excelcior " was using outright aimbot and killing everyone in server "EVGA gaming cry 2".


We votekicked him and he came back within a minute and went on mascre again.

Seems crytek votekick system is already hacked.

For crying out loud crytek you've got to look into this cheater problem and ban their account for obvious obnoxious cheating.

and I have screenshots and frap record of him aimbotting everyone in my hard drive.

maybe they use the current IP and not the username to ban for 10 mins. So they change the IP and come back. don't think they could hack the Votekick system otherwise.

Whats the point banning the IP? I doubt that Crytek created ban system which base on IP address.
But IF they done that it would be incredibly stupid. Im in the local network so I dont have a dynamic IP address - only one IP - of my service provider. So if anybody in my network would be banned I would be also.

I was kicked by some noobs who had hacked C2 and they were all running cloaked & shooting from one server yesterday and I wasnt able to rejoin. So as for me I think the ban system works.

I think they are banning the user accounts but someone from Crytek please correct me if Im wrong.

i dont think votekick is hacked but probably thats why it called votekick! he got kicked not banned.

your for sure hes from zimbabwe? do they have internet there? then i stop paying for good charity if they have internet already.

i also think that server admins must set special setting for votekick time bewteen when he can come back our temp ban and such.

i banned a few cheaters so far and never seen them coming back

EVGA cry 2 server is on dallas, and his ping was 56 so person living near that area.

probably some fat kid with bad taste.

I think crytek should implement votekick system to keep cheater from rejoining the server for at least 30 or 40 minutes like battlefield BC2.

Once kicked, can't join for good amount of time for sure with same ID or account.

Seriously, server not managed by admin is pretty much screwed with current votekick sys. it need more structure to it.,..

*facepalm* banning IPs is the most fail method of doing things

most users have dynamic IPs anyhow which renders that method obsolete.

i think if you are caught cheating in Crysis 2 - your guid needs to be banned from Crysis 2 and every other EA title...

I don't think it ever took hold, but I do remember Punkbuster came out with their Global ban system. Granted it was a process, but if proven beyond a shadow of a doubt, you weren't just banned from one game, but any game running Punk buster.

I believe the limitation of the system was that your Punkbuster ID was based on hardware, so at some point, once you upgraded enough, you had a new ID. I imagine the EA system would work the same and have the same limitations.

You know what's funny? Replacing the phrase "cry" in your post with actual cries.
