Hi everyone

If posted a few times before, but i never got an answer that could fix my problem. So i decided to make my own post and i might get lucky.

Ill try to keep it short. On Friday night my first crash happened, the screen went black and my sound was stuck in a loop. Now the strange thing is i have been playing the game in sp and mp for more then 40H without any big problems.

Last Thursday was the first time i did mp and i also updated the game to 1.2 on that day. There was no problem until Friday night when i hit lvl10 and wanted to unlock my second custom class. I found out like many of us that my unlocks were not being saved. So i took a look on this forum and found a workaround. This was by unlocking your gear etc. when your on a server during a map chance. Unlock your stuff play the game and then log out so your profile will get saved.

This worked for me but then my first crash happened, i think i selected 1 of my custom classes and in the next round somewhere the game crashed and i needed to reset my pc.

Now from that moment on i haven't been able to log on to mp or play a sp game. i just want to say that i finished the sp game last week( i didn't have an internet connection, just moved here and got connected last Thursday). With no problems i have finished sp and played mp until lvl10, after the update and using the workaround the problems started. I have re-installed the game a few times, also my drivers etc. Looked on the forum for other thinks i could try, and i did with no success. The other strange thing is, i have re-installed the game and did not update the game, just to try sp and i can't even start a new campaign there. it also crashes. Thats the freaky thing i cant get, i played for days with the release version. Why the hell cant i play that version anymore??

So if any1 here has any idea what it can be, or were i should look for the problem. let me know. I enjoyed the game very much so and i just don't want to wait until the next update, and hope that 1 will fix the problem.

well i was hoping for any or some idea's, this is hard to give up i have to say. Cant play my new game, sucks the big 1.

Does it work on another PC?

Might be worth giving us your system spec, just in case. I have never experienced this, or seen any posts about it either unfortunately. If you've done an uninstall, have you removed the program files crytek / crysis 2 folder? Might be worth giving that ago (of course backing up saves, etc).

Other than that, not much I can suggest. Get in contact with the EA / Crytek tech support and see if they know of anything similar.

thanks guys, and yeah i re-installed the game clean, used ccleaner for my reg and removed the savegame folder and gamefolder.

systemsepc: intel quad qore q6700 2.66ghz - windows 7 32bit - gtx460se - Dont think its my pc or hardware but a software problem.

Thing is don't know what to try now, installed new drivers- beta drivers older drivers and didn't doe anything. I can run other games like totalwar shogun2 on ultra(max settings) so not sure what to try now. ill give ea/crytek a go then.
