So I pre-ordered Crysis 2 and now that I dl and can play, the MP doesn't work. It gave me 2 CD-keys, one is the Limited Edition Game Code and the other is LE Bundle. I used the Limited Edition one since that's the only format it would take when I clicked Multiplayer, but when I try to join a server, it says that a valid code is needed to play multiplayer. When the game first started, it said 2 were needed and I can just push Shift+Tab to view them, but it only gave me a chance to put in 1. Tried exiting and doing it again, but no go. Help please?

I have just purchased this game, and this problem is still happening. I can't return the game - the store direct me to this forum. Have I wasted my money or is there a patch for 'invalide login'?

Ignoring the Limited Edition bonuses for the moment... The proper code format is 5 groups of 4 numbers/letters in the form XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX - This is entered, with dashes, in the login screen when you first enter the game.
- You can then login or create an account.
- You wont know if your serial code is valid until you enter multiplayer....
- If you get a serial key error message, repeat until you are getting angry and are certain that you have entered it correctly ;)
If it fails, you have an invalid serial code. There have been several of these lately, but EA support is very good about replacing codes. Be prepared to answer questions to prove your ownership. https://help.ea.com/contact-usNOTE: The "Incorrect Login Details" message is a separate problem. They can be tricky to resolve, and seem to occur more often when the mycrysis.com account was created first, outside of the game. The surest method to get going and test your new installation is to simply create a brand new account from within game.

Thank you Ch4nce, Chetan from EA support chat room helped me through - I wouldn't have known that the service available here ( https://help.ea.com/contact-us) existed if you hadn't posted! Thank you! For anyone else with this problem, the code was unusable and we used a different code which he accessed my account to use. I suggest this means of support (which I received in under a minute) any day of the week!

Sorry for bumping but i have same problem,but for me even single player don't start,i start the game but first thing is to ask for activation. Problem has begun first time with retail disk,i read some topics what it says to contact https://help.ea.com/contact-us...done,but they just added the game to Origin,so now is "activated" on Origin...so lets play but first thing after i press to play is requesting to activate the game... The error i had with retail disk to,before contacting https://help.ea.com/contact-us and being added to Origin.Also i contacted again help.ea.com but maybe i'll (hope to) receive a good advice from here to.

It is likely that you do have a bad serial key. EA support can help you.

Hi im new to this and i only brought my crysis 2 a few days ago but there seems to be a problem with the serial key cause when i finished downloading it it needed the serial key to start but when i had typed it in correctly it said your key is invalid and so i came across this forum where i saw the help page posted by CH4NCE https://help.ea.com/contact-usthe problem is that when i pressed on the link and got into it i tried logging into origin but then it said the service is temporarily unavailible so do i just have to wait for this to come back up so i can prove my ownership of the game and get another serial Key. Can anyone help please?
