When I launch the game in EADM, it starts to download a patch (v1.1), but the patch won't install at all. The error message is that "Crysis 2 cannot be located in your system. Please reinstall the game and try to run the patch again" I suspect that the problem is caused by the chinese folder name, which is automatically created by EADM with the chinese name of Crysis2. Anyone with any idea how to fix this? There wasn't any choice for installation directory in EADM that I can locate.

I've got the same version with EADM, Thailand. I reinstalled it and the same problem occurs.
But mine EADM is in english language. Another question about the game downloaded files, after I uninstall the game from EADM it link me to Add/Remove program ( windows 7 64bit ). Then I reinstall it but it force me to re-download the game. Where is the game downloaded file???

You can still run the game without updating by going into the folder and run crysis2.exe.
But I think you can't do MP unless it's the latest version, so...
I also tried to download the standalone patch exe file, and that doesn't work either...
Help please!

Fixed the problem myself, totally disappointed at EA and Crytek for zero support!
Here's how I fix this, change the installation folder name (under program files/EA) to "Crysis 2" from the chinese name, then regedit to change the install dir to the new path, restart EADM to launch the game and it updates!

Hay Lok925 please tell me how to regedit to change the install dir to the new path n how to restart EADM
please help as i am still not able to update my crysis 2 ?
